Interesting Fruit

A few days ago, the girls and I went for a walk and stopped at a little fruit store before we headed home. I found these nectarines for sale and had to get some and take some pictures. Have you ever seen fruit with Chinese characters on them? The "writing" is somehow formed in the natural coloring of the fruit - like a watch line on the wrist after a sunburn, for example.
The Chinese characters are these:

bao(dipping tone) - treasure (it's an older form of the other bao)
fu(up tone) - blessing
bao(dipping tone) - treasure
fa(flat tone) - emit, send out (supposed to go with another character - fa cai, which together means "get rich")
ji(up tone) - lucky, auspicious
yi(down tone) - will/wish (goes with another character - ru yi, which together means "as you will/wish")
